Exclusive: Andy Lee reveals his and fiancé Bec’s hilarious ‘obsession’

EXCLUSIVE: While Andy Lee gears up for an epic new season of The Hundred, there’s one thing that “continues to surprise” the TV host – and that’s co-star Sophie Monk.
As you can see in the video above, Sophie’s ‘acting’ return was certainly one reason why.
Sophie joined Andy and comedian Mike Goldstein in an hilarious video to promote the game show’s seventh season, which premieres tonight at 8:45 pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
It was an experience Andy, 43, described as a whole lot of “Hollywood” fun, much to fiancée Rebecca Harding’s delight.

“Bec and I are obsessed with Law & Order SVU,” said Andy. “At the start of [lockdown] we went back and started watching every single episode from every season.
“We’re nearly up to date with 24 seasons. But I sent Bec a picture of me in the outfits and she was like, ‘Oh my God, what are you doing? Is this Law & Order?’
“I said not quite, but she was pretty excited,” he smiled.

Sophie joked that the trio should have their own crime-fighting TV show, Andy revealed. He agreed they definitely looked the part.
“Soph was the only one with Hollywood experience, so I felt like it was a bit of a treat working alongside her,” he continued.
“I’m one degree of separation I think now from some of the greatest actors in Hollywood!”
While Andy can now add ‘acting’ to his long list of skills and talents, the star and his fiancée are also “slowly but surely” renovating their Melbourne home.
“I might have to learn how to build houses, because the house Bec and I are building is going to require as many hands on deck as possible – maybe that will smooth out the budget,” he laughed.
Their latest challenge was preserving a beautiful oak tree that could live up to 200 years old.
“Hopefully The Block host Scotty Cam can come and help me with the trickier parts,” he hinted.

“Mike, Soph and I are pumped to be back. One new game called Is It Legal? finds out whether Australians think certain things are legal or not.
“Might be a good one for the police to tune in for!”
Well, it certainly ties in with the crime-fighting video!
